Phatrocks
16th February
Phatrocks is a project that I am proud of. The site features 5-6 hundred items and needed to be built around a content management system that the owner could edit themselves and add to over time. Inventory is constantly changing, and they needed a solution where they could have featured items on the home page. The colors for the site had to be bold, but with impact. This project involves a lot of PHP programming and customization to integrate payments and the content that the owner desired.
Phatrocks has a directory of products broken down by category, making it easy to find what you are looking for. Also, there is an index page with detailed information on the properties of each type of stone and crystal. There is also an animated informational presentation on chakras and what stones affect each chakra.
Packaging Concept
2nd February
Scrubbin’ Bubbles was a packaging concept design for a client who wanted to venture into children’s products. The concept was for the hand soap bottle to play a tune every time the child pumped the top. The child would wash his/her hands while the music played, making hand washing fun for children.
Pricing Table
2nd February
This is a pricing table, which is used to mail to potential clients. It utilizes the same signature graphics as on their web site, giving the companies products a unified look.

Knoxville Logo Design: McKinnon Chiropractic
The McKinnon Chiropractic logo is a custom Knoxville Logo Design for a local chiropractic office that is used to provide a friendlier and more welcoming look to this local business. An abstract spine is created at a 3/4 angle to provide depth and interest to a logo, giving the logo a more modern, contemporary feel. The linear shadow replicates the visual sense of needles, tying the chiropractic and the acupuncture portions of the business together in one solid logo. The color blue was chosen for its association with beauty and health, and the green color was chosen for healing and prosperity, giving a strong sense of health and well being to the look of the logo. Knoxville Website Design: Southern Kitchen

Knoxville Website Design: Southern Kitchen
Southern Kitchen is a custom Knoxville website design that I created to help them to market their services. This was a complete redesign from the ground up, as I completely updated their website system to feature a custom slider on the home page using jQuery, a custom image gallery using Ajax, and a custom popup contact form, enabling customers to contact them for more information about their services.
The site is mainly white, with specific color accents, because the main focus is on the beautiful kitchen designs, and the images that the user will see when they are browsing the site. Twitter, Facebook, and Google+ is integrated within the site, so that visitors can show appreciation for Southern Kitchen’s designs. It also enables Southern Kitchen to market specials and events through Twitter and Facebook, expanding … Read More »
